With the DECT phone FRITZ!Fon X6 Edition International (available in white and black) AVM presents a new all-rounder for telephony and smarthome. Thanks to full-duplex HD support – also in the integrated hands-free function – and the powerful battery, you can enjoy long calls with high voice quality. In addition, smart home devices such as lights or sockets can be switched on and off. A new, assignable favorite button, a backlit keypad and the intuitive menu structure help the user with telephony, navigation and the use of internet services. Equipped with an answering machine, phone books, call blocking and comfort functions, the new FRITZ!Fon X6 also impresses with a clear color display (2.4″) and extended battery life.

Control smarthome, internet services and media player
The FRITZ!Fon X6 is optimally designed for the digital home and for use in the home office. With the FRITZ!Fon X6, devices in the smart FRITZ! home network can be controlled, such as the FRITZ!DECT 302 and 301 radiator thermostats and the FRITZ!DECT 500 smart LED lamp. By showing guests a QR code on the screen, they can connect to the Wi-Fi network in no time, and the Wi-Fi network can be switched on and off at the touch of a button. Internet services, such as receiving emails, internet radio, RSS feeds, and podcasts are possible with the FRITZ!Fon X6. In addition, the FRITZ!Fon X6 can receive the live image from a video door intercom. With the integrated media player, it is easy to play music or display photos stored on the FRITZ!Box or other media servers – even on a smart TV or a Wi-Fi speaker if desired.

HD telephony, comfort functions and clear color display
FRITZ!Fon X6 supports all comfort functions known from the product range, including caller and appointment announcements from the calendar, baby monitor, home screen with e.g. smarthome and the alarm clock. In combination with a FRITZ!Box, up to 5 digital answering machines, a clear call list, and phone books with up to 300 entries are available. Incoming calls, spoken messages on the answering machine, emails, and software updates are signaled via the display and the MWI button of the FRITZ!Fon, and are available at the touch of a button. The larger battery, smart energy management, and a sensitive brightness sensor that adjusts the display and keypad lighting to the ambient light ensure longer battery life. The built-in motion sensor wakes the phone from standby when the user picks it up.

FRITZ!Box as an ideal partner
All FRITZ!Box models with a built-in DECT base station – whether DSL, fiber optic, cable, or LTE – are ideal for the FRITZ!Fon X6. The FRITZ!Box makes many data services and comfort functions available for the FRITZ!Fon. Settings can be easily configured via the FRITZ!Box user interface. All voice, audio, and control data are transmitted securely encrypted via the robust DECT signal. If DECT Eco Mode is activated, the FRITZ!Box and the handsets in standby mode completely switch off the DECT signal.
