The Amarant works on low voltage. That means you can connect the lamp with a power supply to any outlet. Moreover, you can connect multiple Amarants with just one power supply, creating a sea of light. Thanks to the ingenious design, the light shines first upward and then outward, creating an even distribution of light over a larger area. Glare is thus eliminated. Install the Amaranth on the ground or mount it high on a vertical surface to perfectly illuminate a wider area. When you connect the LED bulb to your Philips Hue Bridge, Amaranth is incorporated into your overall smart lighting system. This gives you access to all sorts of features via the Philips Hue app on your smartphone or tablet - from controls when you're not at home to timers and geofencing technology. That means the outdoor lights automatically come on when you approach your home. The Amaranth is designed with IP65 rating, making it waterproof. In the box, you'll also find a cable to connect to the low-voltage power supply of the outdoor lights you already have.
