The integrated Class D amplifier delivers 80 watts continuous; peak power is a whopping 160 watts. In the sum of its qualities, the built-in technology enables the RS8 to reproduce frequencies up to 25 Hz. Through the amplifier electronics, volume, crossover frequency and phase can be controlled, allowing optimal adaptation to room acoustics. The solid MDF enclosure is optionally available in black ash or mocha color. In the case of the RS8, it is still extremely compact with a width of 260 mm and a height of 350 mm. The standard fabric covering can be removed with one move and then reveals the impressive bass chassis. The Magnat Alpha RS8 active subwoofer is the ideal addition or extension to any home theater or hi-fi system.
