Sony WH1000XM series

The Sony WH1000XM series is the flagship amongst Sony headphones. Models such as the WH-1000XM4, WH-1000XM5, and WH-1000XM6 are some of the best headphones available today. Thanks to the powerful noise cancelling, you can hardly hear ambient noise and listen to music undisturbed. To still hear your surroundings, for example on a bike, you can use the smart functions that let ambient sounds through. This way you can hear traffic arriving on time. You can easily set up those functions via the Sony Sound Connect app. The battery of the WH1000XM series headphones is very powerful. You can listen for almost 30 hours on a full battery, which is also full again in no time thanks to the fast-charging function. A downside to the WH1000XM series is that the headphones have not been officially tested for water resistance. This doesn't mean that they will break at the first rain shower but be careful when using the device outside.

Sony WH-CH series

The Sony WH-CH series belongs to Sony's basic range of headphones. With the Sony WH-CH720N, you can listen to your favourite music in peace thanks to the mid-range noise cancelling. Constant noises such as that of a vacuum cleaner are well muffled, but loud noises can still be heard through the headphones. The battery lasts 30 hours with noise cancelling, so you don't have to charge it every day. Thanks to multipoint pairing, you can connect the headphones to 2 devices at the same time, and it automatically switches to the device that plays sound. With the equaliser in the Sony Sound Connect app, you can easily adjust the sound of the headphones.

Sony ULT Wear series

Headphones from the Sony ULT Wear series fall into the mid-range and are equipped with all the techniques you expect from headphones today. For example, the noise cancelling is powerful enough to suppress ambient noise at home or at the office. With this wireless headphone with microphone, you can also make undisturbed phone calls. The sound of Sony ULT Wear headphones is also very good, especially if you like low bass tones. With the special ULT button, these are amplified, so you can enjoy your favourite music even more. Because these headphones are quite compact and easy to fold, you can easily take them with you in a small bag. Be careful during a rain shower, because these headphones have not been officially tested for water resistance. You can connect them to multiple devices at the same time and only need to charge them after 30 hours of listening, even if you have noise cancelling on all the time.

Sony MDR-ZX series

Looking for a pair of wired headphones from Sony? Then you come to the MDR-ZX series. Headphones from this series are very suitable if you want to be assured of a connection without stuttering and are therefore a reliable choice. The compact headphones from the MDR-ZX series are easy to fold up and take with you wherever you go. The ear pads of these headphones are soft, so you can wear them comfortably. Only in busy spaces or environments it’s a pity that these wired headphones don't have noise cancelling. Then your music may be a little less audible.
