There are several key features to consider when buying a pressure washer:
- Power (watts) affects how strong the motor is – more power means better performance on tough dirt.
- Water pressure (bar) controls the strength of the jet. Lighter jobs like bikes and garden furniture only need 100–120 bar. For patios or driveways, 130–180 bar is more effective.
- Water flow rate (litres/hour) tells you how much water the washer uses. This is especially important for large areas.
- Hose length affects how much you can move around. For bigger surfaces, go for at least a 7-metre hose.
- Accessories like different spray nozzles or a detergent tank add flexibility and ease.
