With the PlayStation VR2 you find yourself right in the middle of the game world. The OLED screen provides a realistic playing environment that comes to life all around you. When you buy a PS VR2, you receive a headset, earphones, 2 controllers and a USB-C cable. You easily connect the PS VR2 to your PlayStation 5 with the USB cable. No external camera is needed; the headset has 4 built-in cameras that register where you are looking in the game and where the controllers are located.
With the PlayStation VR2 you can choose how you want to play: sitting, standing or with more movement. With the built-in camera you scan your surroundings, so that the PS VR2 gives you a signal when you reach the boundary of the play area, ensuring you do not bump into an object. The front of the headset is adjustable, so you can determine the distance between the screen and your eyes yourself. You can also wear glasses with the headset. The back of the headset is adjustable as well, so you can set up the PS VR2 to be comfortable for you. The PS VR2 offers 3D audio so you can hear everything around you. If someone next to you whispers something in your ear, you can hear on which side that person is standing. Use the earphones supplied with the PS VR2 or connect your PS5 PULSE 3D Wireless Headset, which works well with the VR2. The VR2 uses eye tracking when you aim a weapon or look around you. You can also livestream with the PS VR2 and even watch films.
PS5 games you can play with the PS VR2 include the adventure games Horizon: Call of the Mountain and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, the racing game Gran Turismo 7, the horror game Resident Evil Village and the multiplayer shooter Pavlov. Some games can be upgraded to the VR2 version, while other games are exclusive to PS VR2. For GT7 and other racing games, a racing wheel is also recommended to get the most out of your playing experience.
