CD-RW (CD-Rewritable Compatible) means that your audio system can play both CD-Recordable (CD-R) and CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) discs. You can record once on CD-R discs and play them on any audio CD player. CD-RW discs, on the other hand, are suitable for multiple recordings or writings, and you can only play them on a compatible audio CD player.
