The Krups Nespresso Vertuo Plus XN9038 Black has an exclusive system that lets you brew 5 different sizes of coffee with ease: Alto (414 ml), Coffee (230 ml), Gran Lungo (150 ml), double espresso (80 ml) and espresso (40 ml). The coffee machine uses a new coffee brewing system with Centrifusion technology (rotating cups) and automatically brews the correct coffee recipe by reading the unique barcode on the cups. Thanks to this barcode, the Vertuo Plus brews the coffee with the exact amount of water, right temperature and rotation speed, making the coffee full of flavor, with delicious aromas and a creamy crema you are used to from Nespresso. The coffee maker heats up within 40 seconds and has a 1.2-liter water tank. The cup holder is adjustable to 4 different positions, making it easy to brew a small cup of espresso or a large mug of coffee. Remove the cup holder to place a travel mug underneath. After 9 minutes of inactivity, the machine automatically turns itself off. Sustainability is very important to Nespresso, which is why both the Original and Vertuo capsules consist of 80% recycled aluminum.
