The Inventum IKA8045 is a luxurious frameless built-in induction hob of 80 cm wide with an integrated extraction in the center (flow-in). Operation is simple with touch controls and sliders. The appliance has 4 cooking zones with 15 settings and boost per zone. Additionally, this appliance has 2 flexible cooking zones. With the convenient bridge touch control, you can link the 2 left or the 2 right cooking zones together. On these flex zones, you can use pans of any shape and size, such as a grill plate or roasting pan. Furthermore, the hob is equipped with cooking duration limitation, automatic pan detection, residual heat indication, and a child lock. The energy-efficient flow-in extraction with 3 speeds and a boost setting has a durable BLDC motor (brushless) and energy label A. Thanks to the powerful airflow of 735 m³/h, this induction hob is suitable for a large or open kitchen. You don't have to worry about cooking odors in your home. You can set the extraction speed yourself or let the appliance choose the right speed with automatic synchronization. The extraction is suitable for exhaust to the outside or recirculation. For recirculation, you can use a carbon or plasma filter.

Boost function

The boost function on the hob provides temporary extra power to a cooking zone. Handy if you want to bring something to a boil quickly. After a certain time, the boost automatically switches back to the previously set power.

Double flex zones

This induction hob has 2 large flexible cooking zones on the entire left and right side. Due to the special pan detection in the hob, only the area where a pan touches the hob becomes active. You can use any size and shape of pan on the flex zones, such as a roasting pan or grill plate. The pan is always heated evenly. You can also use multiple pans on 1 zone. Use the sliders of the flex zone independently or link them with the bridge function and control the entire zone with 1 slider. These convenient functions offer many extra usage possibilities and cooking pleasure.

Extra safety

• Automatic pan detection: The cooking zone automatically switches off when there is no pan on it.
• Residual heat indication: If a cooking zone is still hot, you will see an 'H' displayed.
• Cooking duration limitation: If a cooking zone is on for a long time without adjusting the power, it will automatically switch off.
• Child lock: In this mode, the induction hob is locked.

Automatic synchronization function

The extraction integrated into the hob has a convenient automatic synchronization function. This allows the appliance to control the extraction speed itself for an active cooking zone or when you select a higher or lower power.

BLDC motor

The extraction of the IKA8045 has a BLDC motor, also known as a brushless motor. This type of motor is quieter and more durable.

Extraction capacity

The extraction capacity or maximum airflow of an extractor hood is expressed in cubic meters per hour (m³/h). The IKA8045 with 735 m³/h is highly suitable for a large or open kitchen.

Energy label

The extraction in the IKA8045 has an energy label A++. For extractor hoods, labels range from A++ to E, where an A++ appliance is the most energy-efficient and E is the least efficient.
