The Connect AD12 is capable of transferring a stereo signal to a digital audio signal. Very useful if you want to hear the sound of a record or CD player over your speakers, soundbar or other active speaker. The Connect AD12 is in fact the connecting piece between them. For a turntable, it is important that it has a built-in phono preamplifier (RIAA). Otherwise, it cannot be connected to this external A/D converter, which, by the way, is also suitable if your audio amplifier has too few audio inputs.
