The Vonyx CM400B is a studio condenser microphone that is perfect for making podcasts, studio recordings or for the musician, ether pirate or producer. The microphone comes with a shockmount and table stand included. Upon receipt, you place the microphone stably on your desk or on a table and the podcast, recording or broadcast can begin! The microphone can be easily connected to a computer or laptop* for an amazingly beautiful sound recording of both speech/vocals and acoustic instruments.

Large diaphragm

The CM400B features a large diaphragm which ensures a high SPL allowing even the smallest details to be recorded effortlessly. On the other hand, the good directional characteristic minimizes ambient noise. The wide frequency range ensures that the entire frequency range is recorded with virtually no dips or peaks.

Table stand & shockmount

The Vonyx CM400B comes in this set including a table stand with a heavy cast iron base. The stand has a height of 15cm on which the shockmount can be easily screwed. The shockmount ensures that the microphone can be attached to the table stand free of vibration and resonance. To further improve quality, the microphone is supplied with a windscreen. This plop cap reduces wind noise and softens the harsh and sharp sounds of e.g. the 'P', 'F' or 'S'. Because of these extras, superior sound quality is guaranteed and that for this low price.

* With most PCs or laptops, the microphone works without further equipment. For connection to a mixer / mixing desk, it is important that it has phantom power (+48V).
