Sturdy material

The alpina storage containers are made of borosilicate glass. The unique thing about this type of glass is that it is stronger than normal glass, scratch-resistant, does not expand with heat and does not shrink with cold. This makes kitchenware made of borosilicate glass perfect for use as an oven dish or freezer containers. The minimum temperature that each lunch box can withstand is -40 degrees. The maximum temperature without a lid is 300 degrees. With a lid, you can heat the containers up to 100 degrees.
