The application of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable sheaths reduces the chance of high concentrations of toxic gases if the cable is damaged by fire or short circuit. LSZH is mainly used in poorly ventilated areas, such as airplanes, trains, and cars. Cable sheaths made of LSZH are stiffer than those of traditional PVC cables.
