The ACT U/FTP CAT8 data center slimline patch cables provide a maximum bandwidth of 2000MHz (40Gbit). The patch cables have fully copper 30 AWG cores and 50u gold-plated RJ45 contacts. All cables comply with international standards and are 100% tested.

CAT8 U/FTP slimline data center Ethernet cables are smaller in diameter (5mm vs 7.4mm) than our regular CAT8 patch cables. The bending radius is lower compared to regular patch cables. This results in better airflow in the server rack/network cabinet.

The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable sheath reduces the risk of releasing high concentrations of toxic substances when the cable is damaged by fire or short circuit.

Although ISO/IEC and TIA standards describe the use of patch cables between 22 and 28 AWG, it is possible to use 30 AWG patch cables. This results in higher attenuation, especially at higher frequencies.
