Higher voltage and power as well as electronic control are the main advantages of 1.5 volt Li-Ion Mignon AA and AAA batteries. The battery offers great advantages due to its undervoltage cutoff. Most applications do not have their own undervoltage cutoff, but do not damage the electronically controlled 1.5V Li-Ion as is the case with NiMH batteries. Up to 1000 charging cycles and more are therefore quite possible under real conditions with the 1.5V lithium-ion battery. Particularly suitable for game cameras, radios, photographic equipment, flash units and much more.

Disadvantages: The electronic control allows only the discharge current specified in the key figures. The batteries can only be charged with a suitable charger. Note: Electric motors, for example in toy cars, require more current at startup than the specified continuous load.
