Ja, ik beveel dit product aan.
I have now upgraded the camera after nearly 5 years. I wanted a camera that offers many features Price & comfortable to hand -7D Mark II. The 5D Mark III is the same size (slightly different, but you will not notice it in your hand), but it costs 1500 € more.
What strikes at first is the good workmanship, but you can expect that at the price. I do not want to go into the technical data now, they can be found everywhere on the internet. That's why I go for my impression.
The speed of the camera is almost unbeatable, these are not only the continuous shooting, but also the focusing. Together with the kit lens 18-135mm, the camera is very fast sharp, so fast you can not look. This is great for sports photography and on vacation. You do not lose time in focusing. Due to the high number of continuous shots escapes no moment, but you have to either delete this after booting or have enough space here.
The speed I have already mentioned, now it's about the number of fields and their accuracy. 65 cross sensors sound very good, but you really do not always need them all. The camera likes to focus on something you do not want. I'm going down to 9 and move this in a corner to make a nice golden section.
If you have ever used a camera with two memory spots, you will never want to miss it again. Especially the combination of Compact Flash and SD cards. I personally store the JPEG of the camera on a 16GB SD card and the RAW at the same time on the Compact Flash card. The speed makes this hardly any loss. Immediate backup of this option is particularly useful. Even for people who come from an EOS 40D (I think that still had Compact Flash) find this particularly practical, there are no additional costs for additional memory cards.
In the digital world, geotagging is standard on smartphones. Meanwhile, the DSLR come to it. Personally, I just think it's awesome, you can always see where the pictures were made and share them in a very practical way. However, it always takes a long time until the camera connects, this could have done better quietly. Unfortunately, the GPS at Canon is not yet common. The 7D M2 is next to the 6D currently the only one that offers this.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS:
A nice way to wireless. You can control the camera remotely, with no additional cost a nice display, etc. Unfortunately, the 7D Mark II does not have this on board. Many find this a big minus point, personally I have not had a situation where I needed it. Especially I hate to leave the camera more than 1m away from me. For the people who prefer to have Wi-Fi, there are 40 TP here on Amazon TP link. So you can remotely control the camera via WLAN (only for Android, iOS costs about 200 €).
The camera is very interesting for movies, because of the possibility to connect headphones, the camera is the cheap alternative to the 5D Mark III. But here is also a minus point for the camera. The covers are just 2 divided. Means if you connect the camera via USB, the HDMI port is free. This is fine too. However, under the 2 cover are headphones, microphone, remote control and flash connection free. Unfortunately, I can not understand this. Canon should improve here or show me a photographer who uses an external microphone and headphones during the shooting with flash, or the other way round. The camera supports this as far as I know anyway (Please correct me if I am wrong).
Last but not least, the quality of the pictures. These are of course great, with the new autofocus always nice sharp, even when moving. Compared to my 600D, you already notice a good difference. Especially at a higher ISO. With the 600D I had to plug in a lot at 1600 already. I last had the 7D M2 at ISO 10,000. You can already see a very good noise, but still to cope for the small presentation. In the ISO automatic I limited the camera with ISO 6400. Here is the compa
